Hands down Pioneer makes a great product. Even when buying the cheaper units. Build,performance & quility is better.
They should build cars.
Pioneer. Sony has never made quality car audio products, save for a couple top of the line Active Black Panel models.
Pioneers perform a little better, but Sony’s are much more user friendly, and are cheaper. A Sony will probably last longer too. Thats why i bought my Sony over a Pioneer, it was 10 bucks cheaper, and my friend hates his Pioneer.

I have both Pioneer AND Sony headunits in my cars.
I prefer the Sony as it has far better functions. Pioneer is powerful, but its kinda basic compared to the Sony.
